Peaceful park with pond. Charm and refinement in a setting of greenery and freshness, this vast contemporary park is strongly marked by the presence of a large pond and a small canal running alongside a plane tree mall.
Five and a half hectares dedicated to strolling and children's play. The youngest of Grenoble's parks, inaugurated in 1987 and designed by landscape architect JARRY, is located on a former Reyniès-Bayard gendarmerie barracks, where only the line of plane trees that shaded the Place d'Armes remains. This was the starting point for designer Daniel JARRY's landscape composition, which plays on shapes, oppositions and curves.
